Blood for Light?

Published by storyteller at 12:43 pm under Living Edit This

While cruising through my favorite website and listening to stream-link late night  radio, coast to coast am. I came across the paragraph they had and read about a new light that has been invented to save energy. And it was quite interesting it seems that Mike Thompson has invented a light that illuminates from Blood. That is right folks, what if you had to actually give blood, to get light? Would you be willing to do that to illuminate your home, your patio, your backyard, your driveway? And this would also come in handy at offices and high-rises, which would give a whole new meaning to “I gave at the Office”.      An interesting concept that should get everyone’s attention, I wonder if all the Green Groups will get on board first. I am all in favor of saving energy, and using solar energy would be the best option overall we have no shortage of Sun Rays to go Solar globally. But to give up some blood to use as light is a bit much. All though I might hesitate on it simply because I faint at the sight of my own blood. It could save towns, and cities tons of money spent in the cost of illumination across the country.

On http://www. Live Science , they had people who commented on the original article and someone said we should use all the blood of the Cattle, and other animals that are being slaughtered. Which I agree with, illuminate all the towns, and cities with the blood we normally get rid of. If they could do that in some of the states which are having problems then maybe they could get their budgets under control. The only thing that is wrong with the concept is that they are only set up for a single use and not a continual option. So until it could have all the bugs worked out it is not going to be available . But it is very interesting to think about.

just a thought for the day

Have a good day
