Halloween TV

Published by storyteller at 10:11 am under Living Edit This

This is the season for all things scary, Friday Night and all day Saturday, I didn’t write anything because I was busy. Still looking for work, filling out all kinds of online applications. Then I got some work done here , Laundry,Cleaning, and such. I then proceeded to watch a little TV, “Haunted History” is one that I watch on Saturdays, if I am home. I then watched a program with back to back episodes….I like those kind of programs,  especially  if I haven’t  watched the program in a while, it offers a chance to catch up on what I may have missed…….

The Bio Channel also has a few shows that intrigue me. one of them is “Psychic Kids” with Chip Coffey it looks into the world of Children with psychic abilities and are just learning how to use their abilities. Some of these children are young, very young and have talents such as Seeing Auras, Being able to Diagnose a Health Issue, Healing, Seeing Ghosts of Humans, Animals, and even Seeing Demons or Evil Entities. Several Children, have been able to see Visions of Future Events, Natural Disasters, and even have the abilities to Find Missing People.

I watched the “The Most Extreme Halloween” it was a good show.  All about PUMPKINS, and how some people do the carving and a bit of Trivia information. Some of the  PUMPKIN CARVING is really an Art form….It was a good show.  I didn’t get to see all of it but I will when they rerun it. The one I watched after dark was on the Travel Channel and is called “Ghost Adventures.” What they showed in this show is mind blowing.

Most of the cases I had previously viewed on the “Ghostly Encounters” show. It is on during the day about 11:00 AM where I live. And since I worked nights I could catch that show when I couldn’t sleep. It showed a lot of things that were on the other show. It can be found on  Discovery Channel here where I live.   I think that my most favorite is the “Ghost Hunters” the TAPS Group is great and I have been watching that one since the start.  They do a special on their Show a Live show on Halloween. This year it is going to be at Fort Delaware, which housed over 30,000  confederate Soldiers, of which as many as 24oo died.  If  some of the spirits can’t rest it should be a good show with lots of activity. They have gone to a closed down Sanitarium in KY and did a live show.   That one was a great show, and they had all kinds of Paranormal Activity on that show.  And Now TAPS also has the ”Ghost Hunters International” Which is a good show also.  They can be found on the Sci-Fi Channel.   They have come a long way since the beginning.

The second favorite is the show “Most Haunted” on the travel channel. They go to Castles, Mortuaries, Cemeteries, Breweries, and Old Factories that have been abandoned. They usually have a Medium present, and a Skeptic also. It is a really good show. The travel channel has quite a few shows that I watch on a regular basis, when I am able to.

Now they are going to have a new series starting Friday, Dec.12, ” Most Haunted USA”…….this should be a good one. We have a lot of haunted places here in the USA….I can’t wait until they start that one. But back to the fact it is Halloween this month, they are having a lot of shows on all that day and into the night on the Travel Channel. Just look up your local listings to see when they are on. Or you can go to their website http://www.travalchannel.com  and look up the heading TV Shows and pick which one you want to view then get the schedule by the week.

“I do believe in Spooks, I do believe in Spooks” as the cowardly lion from the Wizard of OZ put it. So if you have nothing to do on Halloween just pop some pop corn and grab a seat and watch all that is going on in TV. With the Travel Channel, and others who present Ghost Busting, and Spirit Chasing, And Honest to goodness bump in the Night, this could happen in your house kind of Scary Stuff.
