Well it may take me a little while to figure this out, but I am trying…I write a blog on 2 other pages and they are not as Technical as this thing is.  I am just going to muddle through this and see what happens>>>which resembles my life.  The Muddling part, anyway.

I am 50 yrs. old and have no real education to speak of…just a high school diploma I guess I should be grateful I have that.  I have a list of jobs that I have worked that is almost as long as one of my arms or 1/2 of my leg which ever you choose to measure by.

I have had jobs as bookkeeper for a tire chain, which entailed inventory control, payroll, and commissions, also all store activity.  I have been a Waitress, a Cashier, a Deli Worker, a Wal-Mart associate, an assembly tech in a Lock company, and at a  hot water heater company. I have been a Representative for various  home showing companies such as Faye Swafford-luggage and handbags, Tiara- Glass Ware, Watkins, Discovery toys, and even Aloette Skin care and Makeup…. I worked as a data entry operator back in the 80’s for a Book Publishing company, and I also had a motor route for a Newspaper.  Yes that is right I am a jack of all trades and a master at screwing it up!  I have a Commercial Drivers License with Tanker endorsement and  I had been an over the road truck driver for 13 years off and on. I have even worked as a Dump Truck Operator in the Asphalt industry. And know how to run several Pieces of heavy equipment such as Front End Loaders, Bulldozer, Paving Machine, Saw, and Roller. I recently within the past year came off the road and took a job 6 months ago at the local Chicken Plant.  I was in the Packing Dept.  in the Packing Pool>>>which meant I would be put wherever they needed a warm, breathing body!  LOL 

Well Now I am unemployed AGAIN!  It seems that the full time position I had was not full time in the beginning due to cutbacks that were neglected to be told to me.  Then in  late May  we went from 32 hrs. a week to  48 hrs. a week…..I was pulling my hair out!   no days off to speak of for at least 6 weeks.  Now this particular Chicken Company announced that they are shutting their doors!!   Erratic behavior if you ask me. 

The thought crossed my mind that they were on a quest to KILL every chicken in the State of Arkansas!!  Or kill all the workers so they would not have to pay up unemployment compensation<<<LOL>>>

Now I did not make it to the closing date as I have pointed out!   Yippee!

They operate on a point system for illness, personal days and Family Leave….You get 12 points to work with.  And boy do they Play with your points.   You just about have to go to the Dr. every time you are sick>>>or Hurt, then it matters not how many days you miss it only counts as 1 point.  Well my 50 year old body couldn’t deal with all the illness.  You see the people who work there seem to think they can’t miss any work at all for any reason>>>>so guess what???  They come in with symptoms of Flu, Stomach Virus, Intestinal Virus, Fevers, and yes the good old Bronchitis Bug and various other things…I have NO CHILDREN that I am exposed to on a daily basis which in my opinion is where these people get sick>>>>from their LOVING CHILDREN!!!!  And then you have to deal with getting Walking Pneumonia, or reg Pneumonia or even Chemical Pneumonia from being in the (refrigerated) packing dept.  I was out for just about the first 2 months for one problem or another.  I also developed, Tendinitis in my right elbow, and in my left shoulder, and my carpals tunnel syndrome was exaggerated to the point I can no longer feel my finger tips most of the time..Not to mention that my middle finger on my right hand is totally NUMB!  I guess I can go around giving people the Finger and get away with it>>>>cause my finger does not  work anymore>>>LOL   Neither Do I it seems! 

I will post more later on this ongoing subject I think I gave the basics and covered a lot of ground for one post.  Everyone have a good evening, and do something great tonight don’t miss a single minute of Life.
